Before I forget

It’s a mind game — or at least a mind frick game. I changed the title from “Struggling to Reduce” to “Reducing Without Struggle.” Let’s see what happens. Pix/stats later. So much work, so little time.

Honored My Commitment

Despite work pressures, I made it 45-minutes on the treadmill for 2-days straight! Reading a book doesn’t hurt (won it on a Joel Comm telecon) and it keeps me focused and not thinking about losing weight. I must continue to honor my commitment — to ME! Thanks for listening. D

Can it be that easy?

I purchased one of those internet diets that promise large and deliver small — in this case a small .pdf file. In it were interesting theories of caloric intake and ‘tricking’ the body. I got a lot out of it. The biggest thing was, “keep moving!” The plan recommended a 45-minute walk every day. That was back in 2005 or 2006. I never made it over 30-minutes and certainly not every day. Here I am, still carrying the same weight I was pondering then. My resolve continues. I WILL NOT REMAIN ON ANY MEDICATION FOR ANY DISORDER I CAN HAVE CONTROL OVER so…I will walk every day this week for 45-minutes. I’ll let you know if I keep that resolve. There is no reason not to — except mind frick. Harv, you give me so much to think about. I owe you a story still…
